memories

I was just remembering how much fun we had playing at The Rocks. We were pretty silly kids, but at least no one could say we lacked imagination. We played Star Trek and Star Wars and house and princesses and just about anything else you could think of. It was lots of fun exploring and swimming in that muddy little pond. I also remember playing baseball and croquet with Daddy out in our field. I remember the excitement I felt each spring when you could here the ice crack on the stream. I remember playing in the big ditch by the stream where there were tons of those wonderful pull apart plants. Those were so much fun to pull apart and put back together. I remember spending a lot of time enchanted with them. I remember catching little snakes and horny toads. I remember playing in the little stream catching little fish and red dots (I still don't know what those were, only they looked like swimming little red dots), and running through the culvert. Is that how you spell it? It was lots of fun finding hideouts in the willow trees. We really had a wonderful place to grow up on our property out there in Wyoming. I shall always cherish very fond memories of life at Pomeroy Basin.

Welcome and Thank You

Hi guys! Well, it has been 25 years now since we found ourselves in the desert surrounded by pods. So much has changed since our escape that I have a hard time recalling details of the ordeal. It seemed to remain fresh in my mind until my mission sort of drew me out of myself and my memory seemed to float away from the old familiar shore of the past, until it lighted on a new and unfamiliar continent called the present. Ever since then my thoughts have been much lighter, but I have always known the time would come when I would have to return to the past in search of those old ghosts from Kemmerer . The world has been waiting for this story to be told and I need your help. Please post your thoughts about Podville here as often as you think of them and don't hold anything back. You never know what may prove to be relevant.
This blog is intended primarily for family, thus the somewhat cryptic title, but others may make reasonable comments if they wish. In the event that a family member makes an unreasonable comment they will first be counseled, and subsequently they will be barred from commenting. Thanks for your participation.
